A gifted teacher and mentor, Vidal Bitton inspires his students with his wisdom, energy, passion, and humor. Vidal’s 35-plus years of martial arts training, combined with extensive study of yoga and meditation, enable him to create a warm yet focused environment where students of every level feel accepted, encouraged, supported and challenged.
Vidal holds fifth degree black belts in Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido and Tai Chi. His interest in yoga and meditation date back to 1994, when he used yoga and Tai Chi to heal an injury. Vidal has also studied Kriya yoga (yogic breathing) with John MacAfee.
A man of many passions, Vidal is also an accomplished chef who won the “Best Chef on the Eastside” award in 1996. He enjoys incorporating many types of music into his classes, and his love of music inspired Vidal to produce his own CD: Yochido. The music, like his teaching, flows from his heart.
Vidal balances the spiritual and physical benefits of yoga to help his students grow, both in practice and in life. |

Has been practicing yoga since the early 1990’s. Her personal practice has included primarily Iyengar, kundalini, Bikram, and vinyasa styles of yoga. Angeline loves to work with children, and has done so for many years as a certified teacher and as a yoga instructor. She combined her love of teaching with her passion for yoga in 2008 and has never looked back. Angeline has trained with Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea, Bryan Kest, Snatam Kaur Khalsa, Lisa Black, and others. A recent training experience with TKV Desikachar and his wife, Menaka Desikachar, was a dream come true. The learning never ends, and the more Angeline teaches, the more she feels that the students in the class are the real teachers, along with the act of teaching itself. She looks forward to seeing you in class. |

Yoga played an important role in self care for Janell during her many years working in social services. As a musician, artist, bicyclist and world traveler, the transformation of physicality, perception, emotions and creativity that occurs as a result of steady practice is abundantly inspiring and simply practical.
Janell received training to be a teacher, and continued on to advanced teacher training at 8-Limbs yoga in Seattle, where she connected with her love of studying physical and energetic human anatomy. Since then, she has completed hundreds of hours of continuing Yoga education through workshops and retreats with inspiring master teachers.
A longtime fascination with Chinese Medicine theory led her to begin experiencing and teaching Yin Yoga--a gentle and contemplative practice which stimulates and balances the vital energy of the body's internal organs and frees the connective tissues and joints. Janell believes yoga can and should be accessible to everyone. She believes in working deeply with the core throughout her class sessions and moving at a slower, graceful pace to achieve useful strength that supports the body and creates ease. Her sincere wish is for students to develop a personal practice, experimenting with various elements of yoga according to their own unique needs and inner promptings. OM…. |
