FAQs

  • What you are comfortable in. In the heated classes, everything will get at least a little damp. Snug fitting clothes work best. Men wear shorts and usually go without a top. Women wear either a bra-top, full length sleeveless athletic top, or tank top, with either shorts or yoga pants. For non-heated classes be sure to wear layers to adjust to the temperature.

  • Bring a yoga mat, large bath towel or yoga towel and a bottle of water. If you don't have a mat and/or towel, you may rent one at the studio.

  • No pre-registration is not required but we ask that you arrive about 15 minutes early. However, if you are able to create an account on Mindbody ahead of time, it will make the process easier. We encourage you to set up your account here

  • Frankly, few people can in the beginning. You are encouraged to lay down as much as you need to. For your own benefit, as well as the benefit of the teacher and all other students, you are not allowed to go in and out of the room.

  • It is strongly advised that you let us know of any injuries or concerns. Yoga does help many people with chronic pain by helping the body to regain its balance between strength and flexibility, movement and awareness, as well as from the many healing and detoxifying abilities from the heated room. As always, if you are under a doctor’s care for an acute condition, please consult your doctor prior to starting any exercise regime.

  • Yes we provide private instruction for an additional fee. If you are interested in scheduling a private class, please send us an email at info@lakeviewyoga.com

  • We recently removed the option to sign up for a zoom class on MindBody. However, we still offer zoom classes for our students that purchased a studio package. If you would like to sign up for a zoom class, please send us an email at info@lakeviewyoga.com with as much advance notice as possible and we will do our best to get it set up for you. Please note the zoom option is only available for select classes with certain teachers.

I have been a student of Lakeview Yoga for the past 15 years. Vidal was my first yoga teacher and I was one of their first students. Vidal sets the example of a true yogi; kind, generous, thoughtful, compassionate, dedicated, knowledgeable, honest, with a great sense of humor. Lakeview yoga has always provided a warm, safe, clean, welcoming space to learn and grow. Vidal doesn’t just teach yoga in one of its traditional forms, but also provides words of wisdom and unique stories. It is not a place to just go to yoga class, but to be in community.

Lakeview Yoga has proven to become an integral part of many lives. I now live 2 hrs away, but thanks to zoom, I still attend classes weekly. It doesn’t matter if it’s your very first class or you’ve been practicing for 30 yrs, everyone has a place here. It’s truly a special place to be.
